"Faithfulness" and "Usefulness"

Years ago, at the memorial meeting for Brother Zhang Xiangze (張湘澤), the Lord's servant Brother Witness Lee used two words to describe Brother Zhang: one was "faithfulness," and the other was "usefulness" (Faithfulness and Usefulness). These two words, applied to Brother Wu, are equally fitting and true. In him we saw that, whether in following and serving the ministry, in the Lord's work, or in the service of the church, he was faithful to the end and became a useful vessel in the Lord's hand—truly a pattern to all the saints.

In the year the renovation of the Toronto meeting hall was completed, Brother Wu and Brother Lin Hong (林鴻) came to visit together, and their fellowship concerning the Body of Christ and financial offering gave us tremendous help. All the saints of the church in Toronto gave their all and learned to be more open to the Body; through the financial support of the churches globally and in Taiwan, we were spared from borrowing from the bank, so that in 2017 we were able to pay off the meeting hall in full. This fully displayed the sweetness of the mutual fellowship in the Body of Christ and the glorious testimony of being one accord. What a glorious value this has in eternity—for this we are all deeply grateful with one heart.
