The Churches Throughout Taiwan — Entering into the Seven Annual Feasts, Practicing the Blending, and Bringing in an Unprecedented Oneness

Brother Wen Tianyou: In 1985 Brother Wu laid down his teaching position, being entrusted to take charge of the Taiwan Gospel Book Room. For thirty-five years he labored and exhausted himself in the Chinese-language publication work, coordinating with the literary work of this ministry, and we are all beneficiaries of this service of his. In the autumn of 1996, in Brother Lee's home, Brother Lee opened his heart to the brothers, saying, "After I go to the Lord... I want you to take this as my will: in the entire Lord's recovery, you must continue the seven annual gatherings."

The seven annual feasts were Brother Lee's will, the importance of which must not be overlooked. Over these years, in coordinating with and promoting this will, Brother Wu spared no effort, giving his heart, his strength, and sparing no labor. The longing of the churches on the island of Taiwan for the speaking of the seven annual feasts therefore continually rose higher and higher, not at all affected by economic recession or by the year-by-year rise in airfares. Take Taichung's encouraging of the young people to attend the trainings on site in the United States as an example: every summer they organized groups to go, the collegians' group and the young working saints' group alternating, and with no subsidy at all, the quotas were quickly filled. Upon returning, there were also on-site trainings, seed trainings, video trainings (in Chinese and English classes), and week-by-week reviews, solidly making the Lord's up-to-date speaking in one locality in this age the speaking of the churches on the island of Taiwan. Moreover, throughout the island of Taiwan it was very natural that the morning revival advanced at the same pace, so that no matter where one went to visit or to blend, there was no difficulty in fellowship. Returning from the spring and autumn trainings for elders and responsible brothers, there were also the blending gatherings of the brothers or the sisters; the brothers could reach three sessions, and the sisters fully five sessions, each session averaging 900 people. Returning from the other two conferences, there was the concentrated pursuit of praying, studying, memorizing, and speaking, along with the conferences; the Chinese-speaking conference comes to Taiwan once every three years, when even more the whole island of Taiwan keeps the feast together. On the island of Taiwan, no matter where one goes, all speak the same thing, with the same mind and the same thought; whatever move is promoted, all are of one accord, with absolutely no difficulty, all being of one heart and one mind, moving together and bearing the same burden. No wonder that when Brother Liu Chenxi (劉晨曦) passed through Taiwan, he was astonished to discover that we manifested a condition that was an unprecedented one accord throughout Taiwan.
