The Faithful Lord Chose Me
Thank the Lord! Although I never saw Brother Wu with my own eyes, I heard the brother speak online. Once I was especially weak, hindered greatly both in body and in work. I had at least a hundred reasons not to come to the meetings, not to love the Lord, even to do without the Lord—because apart from the Lord I could still do many things.
In the painful sleeplessness of night, in the middle of the night I opened my phone and heard one sentence Brother Wu spoke: "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ, even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world to be holy and without blemish before Him in love."
Hearing this voice, so tender, so sweet, like a lamp shining in the dark night, suddenly within me it was bright. Indeed, He chose me out of countless people, chose me before He created me, and loved me with His eternal love. Those whom God chose are in this love. Oh! Lord Jesus!
I really almost dared not cry out, "Lord Jesus, I love You!"
Thank the God who loves us, that because we believe in the Lord's name, I could, through the internet, receive help and supply. Praise the Lord! That my faith was increased, that I would not make the Lord grieve and say, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?"
