Faithfulness and Diligence; Mercy and Preservation

Serving in the central district, I would often see Brother Wu. Though I was not as close to him as the brothers and sisters who saw him day by day, yet whenever Brother Wu saw me, he always remembered me. Wherever Brother Wu was, there was always a sense of being secure, a sense of safety.

From the full-time service to my working life, Brother Wu was always concerned for me. I remember the last time I happily invited Brother Wu to come and see my performance; he had originally agreed, but because of his service he was unable to make it. I thought, never mind, there will be plenty of chances.

On February 28 I was still chatting with Brother Wu at Hall One. He said, "You have lost quite a lot of weight!" We talked about work and life. I also shared with him the strawberries I had bought that morning. I watched his back as he left the book room.

Thank you for your service; your faithfulness and diligence are my pattern. May the Lord have mercy on me and preserve us, that in this age we may be faithful like you, until the Lord comes.
