Fellowshipping with the Churches Overseas, Serving All God's Children with the Riches of the Ministry
Brother Liu Tianyuan (劉天元): In Brother Lee's ministry, it was not only in the speaking and the printed word concerning the revelation of God's economy that things were developed to the uttermost. It was also in the propagation overseas, throughout all the earth, that there was no limit of distance. This is truly the immense blessing that God, through His faithful servant, has given to us in this present time and upon this earth.
When Brother Lee, like David, had served our generation in the will of God and then fell asleep, thanks be to the Lord! In the more than twenty years that followed, He also prepared Brother Wu Youcheng to take up all the commission that Brother Lee carried, not only laboring in the gospel bookroom to compile, edit, and publish all the riches of this ministry to supply the saints and the churches throughout all the earth—this is truly a most difficult work. Besides this, he also had to sustain the churches throughout all the earth, that they might be joined together in Christ, grow in life, and go forth in the gospel. Over these more than twenty years, the churches throughout all the earth were truly sustained through Brother Wu's earnest and toilsome visiting, fellowshipping, supplying, and serving, and they continually increased and fervently fellowshipped with one another, holding fast the oneness of life, the oneness of fellowship, the oneness of work, and the oneness of action that the Lord brought down through Brother Lee. This is indeed Brother Wu's faithful service before the Lord!
Especially in his service overseas, we sensed that Brother Wu not only had a burden, was willing to labor, and willing to pay the price, but spent his whole being for the sake of all the churches. Brother Wu had a broad heart; he could contain a hundred rivers. Whatever person, matter, or thing came before him, he could receive it with a smile. In any conflict, he could calm the strife with a peaceful spirit. In many situations that were utterly chaotic, he could slowly sort out a thread of order. This was the special grace that he had learned before the Lord. He was also one with elevation and vision; many matters, when viewed from God's eyes, became entirely different. Seeing far, he would not be trapped by the environment, by people, or by affairs; seeing high, he would not be limited by situations or difficulties. Thanks be to the Lord! For His church, and for us, the Lord prepared such a brother, a brother who could be especially used by the Lord. We deeply thank the Lord!
