His Promises to His People Are Sure
How firm are the promises of our faithful Lord to His people; His promises never fail. Because of the pattern that Brother Wu set before us—that resolve without turning back, that strength and steadfastness, that firm hope, that overflowing joy—our faith to love the Lord and to glorify Him in this life is stirred up! With a heart full of thanksgiving I pray to the Lord: O Lord! I love You, I truly do love You. I thank You that in the brief years of my life You have placed Brother Wu in my church life to give me such a pattern of faithfully serving the Lord and of comforting and supporting the brothers, stirring me up to follow the resolve of a martyr, to strive to be a faithful disciple of the Lord, and to run all my life only on the pathway that glorifies the Lord.
