Using All His Heart to Serve People
From childhood Brother Wu was a "healthy baby" selected by Taipei City! In high school, he competed in the all-Taipei 800-meter track race and won second place. When he studied at the Normal University, he served as captain of the school's rugby team.
In 1977 the Lord's servant Brother Witness Lee returned to Taiwan from the United States and led the conference and training on "one Body, one Spirit, one new man." At that time, Brother Chen Hongjun (陳泓君) served as the general manager of the conference, and Brother Paul Wu was in charge of the cleaning-and-arranging special work. When moving chairs, at most we each carried two chairs in each hand, but Brother Wu could carry four in each hand; his exertion and capacity in service surpassed the ordinary!
In 1981 the Lord's servant Brother Lee returned to Taiwan again to lead the service training for the churches in Asia, speaking on "the sixty-year history of the Lord's recovery." Brother Wu served as the general manager of that training, and I coordinated in the documentation group. After finishing teaching at the Affiliated High School of the Normal University, Brother Wu hurried to Hall One to fellowship with us and to care about the progress of our service. I was looking up the phone numbers of some responsible brothers in order to contact them. When Brother Wu found out, he said to me, no need to look them up, I'll tell you….
Brother Wu was a serving one who used all his strength to move chairs and all his heart to serve people.
