The Churches Throughout Taiwan — The Training Center, the Five-Year Gospelization of Taiwan, and the Middle-Aged Perfecting Training

Brother Lin Yongguang: From 1989 to 1993, Brother Lee led the move for the five-year Gospelization of Taiwan. Through the one accord of all the churches, according to the leading of the ministry, and through the strenuous endeavors of the full-time pioneers, ninety-four churches were established one after another. During this period, Brother Wu continually led the brothers to have close fellowship with Brother Lee, which was quite a crucial factor enabling the spreading to be accomplished. Because everyone practiced according to the leading, without opinions, the blessing that was brought in was also unprecedented. He once said, "How easy and how blessed it is to live in an age that has the ministry!"

In the move for the Gospelization of Taiwan, Brother Wu's main service was to supply the spreading teams. As to whatever was needed — the leasing of the houses for the meeting halls, the equipping of the interiors, the lodging of the full-timers, and everything needed for the meetings — he saw to it that the spreading teams could go forward boldly without any worries, gaining people and gaining ground. Not only so, he was also responsible for caring for the Kaohsiung-Pingtung area; in order to save time, he often, sparing no effort, drove through the night, racing up and down the freeway between north and south, so that the various localities received tremendous help.

For the financial need of the spreading, through the financial fellowship of the churches throughout Taiwan, Brother Wu bore the great responsibility of promotion, providing the most timely and most accurate financial reports, so that the brothers were able to bear the burden together in one fellowship, willingly upholding one another, and according to the need of the spreading and according to the goal, were able to coordinate in finances in a timely way to meet the need.

Brother Wu's faithful and shrewd service accompanied the churches on the island of Taiwan to follow the ministry closely, to be of one accord for the work of the ministry, to complete the commission of the Gospelization of Taiwan, and to write a new page in the history of the Lord's recovery.
