Wholly Loyal, Forgetting Life and Death
At the opening of the second study-tour class, Brother Wu, who had just recovered from a serious illness, actually appeared again. The brother stood there, still speaking with full strength, seeming robust and full of vigor, yet under the jacket his body still bore tubes; he had not fully recovered. Still he came! This scene was hard to forget; I quietly took a photo with my phone, on the one hand listening to the brother's fellowship and on the other hand moved by his faithful service. After returning home, I held this photo and shared it with the brothers and sisters in our small group, and testified to the brothers and sisters in the district, and everyone was inspired together. Of course, I, who saw it with my own eyes, was the most blessed! The brother is a pattern to us all, supplying the saints in various places. The brother's whole life was poured out upon the Lord; he laid out his all for the Lord like this. Whenever I want to be weak and draw back, that scene does not allow me to spare my own soul-life. The brother's pattern stands there, leaving people with no reason and no excuse!
But those who truly love the Lord regard neither weal nor woe; even their precious heart's blood they are willing to give up for the Lord. May the Lord give me such a resolve—wholly loyal, forgetting life and death. May the Lord give me such a resolve—wholly loyal, forgetting life and death…
