Perfecting Talent, Strongly Pioneering

Thank the Lord, it was by His exceedingly great mercy that I had the opportunity to enter into the Gospel Book Room, to coordinate and serve together under Brother Wu's leading.

Once there was manpower for the service, the quality of the service also needed to be strengthened. Brother Wu led the colleagues of the book room to pray and pursue first, before work each day, so that our spiritual condition would be right and our spiritual enjoyment would be there, and only then would we begin to serve. Next, the skills of the service also needed to be strengthened; one could not be capable of only a single skill but needed to learn many things. To this end, Brother Wu would from time to time rotate everyone's duties; for example, he would move one responsible for sales over to the printing department, and one responsible for editing over to the sales unit. In this way, everyone had exercise and learning in every aspect. Those doing editing not only had to have writing ability but also had to exercise to receive customers and to introduce and recommend the products.

Even the manner of dealing with people had to be learned. On one occasion Brother Wu received a report from a saint that the one answering the telephone at the book room had spoken in a poor tone. Brother Wu then charged us that all who serve in the book room, to a certain degree, represent the ministry in the Lord's recovery, and therefore must be strictly exercised in their speech, their dealings, and their conduct. It is just as Brother Lee fellowshipped: we need to live the life of a God-man. Through this everyone was enlightened and was perfected, exercising to live in the spirit and to deal with people and handle matters in a fitting and proper way.

Through Brother Wu's many years of service, the colleagues of the book room were all equipped, coordinating together in the Lord's recovery, managing together in the book room, each one fulfilling his function and all having one burden. Through Brother Wu's service of strongly pioneering, the supply of the book room was not confined to Taiwan alone but rather brought the word of the Lord's recovery to all the Chinese-speaking places throughout the whole earth, so that all the saints might obtain the rich supply of Christ, be full of the reality of the Body of Christ, and live out a testimony of the one new man.
