Shepherding in the Love of the Lord

In 2014, while I was still wandering and striving in the world, I was suddenly invited to attend a business meeting. It was at this very meeting that I first had close contact with Brother Wu. His care was always thorough in every detail and made me feel exceedingly warm. It was Brother Wu who brought my wandering to an end, who brought me back out of the vain world into the church, who caused me to enjoy the word of God, to live in Christ, and to live in the church life!

Every time I went to Taiwan, Brother Wu personally accompanied me, caring for me as a father loves and cares for his child. In August 2017 I answered the call and attended the first term of the Advanced Studies Class, and Brother Wu encouraged me to be further perfected. That year, in going from Taichung to Kaohsiung to bear testimony for the gospel, since there was no driver, he actually drove the car himself to take me to visit the churches.

Every year when Brother Wu came to the mainland, he would come to visit me, caring for me in every aspect of life. He was like a shepherd shepherding his sheep, ever guiding me and never giving up.

The last time I saw Brother Wu was in September of last year, when he came to SH accompanying Brother Yu. At that time I received Brother Wu's phone call and hurried to meet him. The next day I received the brothers to visit my company and met with them, and we fellowshipped much. I think of Paul at Miletus, who fervently kissed the elders of Ephesus, saying, "serving the Lord with all humility and with tears," "I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable," "But I consider my life of no account, as if precious to myself, in order that I may finish my course and the ministry which I have received from the Lord Jesus, to solemnly testify of the gospel of the grace of God," "being especially pained by the word which he had said, that they would behold his face no more."

O Lord Jesus, I love You, I want You to come, hallelujah!
