In 2003, at the training in New Jersey, the brothers began to fellowship the burden of the full-time training. At that time Brother Wu began to call the saints to report their number one by one, vowing to attend the full-time training of the Lord's recovery in various places. When the count reached number 120, we felt it was just like the one hundred and twenty disciples at Pentecost being filled with the Holy Spirit.
When the Holy Spirit was prompting within me to share with the saints a little of the burden of needing to be perfected, I did not yet have the feeling to report a number to attend the full-time training, because I was not yet very clear about the Lord's leading in my circumstances. After I finished sharing, Brother Zhang Guanghui (張光惠) asked me, "What's your number?" At that moment I could not tell whether it was the brother's prompting, or the Holy Spirit's prompting, or both; I reported my number and naturally jumped into the flow of the Holy Spirit. During the break that day, I received a clear word from the Lord, which became my great encouragement and confirmation.
That consecration let me see the pattern of a group of brothers serving the Lord, and brought me into the learning of serving the Lord. In the seventeen years from then until now, every time I saw Brother Wu's figure at a conference or training, thinking of how, though his body was weak, he still led the brothers in Taiwan to cross the ocean and tirelessly enter into the speaking of the ministry, seeing his affirmation and spreading of the ministry, I was strengthened within, and all the weakness, difficulties, and problems within me passed away.
In the blending of the gospel-health-new-life, every time I could see Brother Wu's face. Brother Wu's support of the business-and-industry saints from the mainland encouraged and perfected batch after batch of brothers with a heart to serve, bringing them into the New Testament ministry and to solidly practice the God-ordained way and the vital-group living. In the meetings, although Brother Wu's words were few, what he spoke was always the most weighty point, and while drawing a knowing smile from people, one could also sense Brother Wu's painstaking care and his broad, magnanimous bearing.
