The Churches in East Malaysia

Concern, Care, and Shepherding, Bringing Grace and Blessing

Looking back to March of early 1990, Brother Paul Wu led a team, together with Brother Li Guanghong (李光弘) and Brother Liu Chenxi (劉晨曦), and began their ice-breaking trip of visiting the churches in East Malaysia. At that time the churches in East Malaysia were, spiritually speaking, still babes; they lacked the knowledge and seeing of the leading of the ministry of this age and of the vision of the Body of Christ, and everywhere they were self-centered, each acting on its own.

Because of that visit by Brother Paul Wu and the brothers, it brought about the historic visit of the Lord's servant Brother Witness Lee in October 1990, which brought the riches of the ministry, the vision of the Body, and the flow of the Holy Spirit to the churches in Malaysia. Brother Lee's visit became the greatest turning point in the churches in East Malaysia receiving grace. Under Brother Wu's arrangement, for these thirty years the co-workers in Taiwan, including himself, have come without interruption, batch after batch, to support, supply, strengthen, uplift, and perfect the churches in all the places of East Malaysia, so that the churches in East Malaysia might grow and become strong in life and in the stature of the Body of Christ. Under Brother Wu's arrangement and service, the churches in East Malaysia have been able to closely follow the leading of the ministry, to enter into the flow of the unique work of the Lord's recovery, and to have a part in the fellowship and move of the Body of Christ.

Brother Wu accompanied the churches in East Malaysia in their growth. For his concern, care, and shepherding toward us over these thirty years, and for the grace and blessing they have brought us, we brothers are truly grateful in heart and thankful in spirit.
