The Churches Throughout Taiwan — Entering into the Seven Annual Feasts, Practicing the Blending, and Bringing in an Unprecedented Oneness

Brother Wu Junying: Awakened in the early morning by the urgent voices of the brothers, I thought to myself that surely something great had happened — it was that Brother Wu had rested. The first feeling in my heart was that, for the Lord and for the things of the churches, he had truly exhausted all his strength.

Every time I was together with him, I always wished there could be a little more time to fellowship. What he gave was not the amount of his words, but the pattern of his doing his utmost and laboring with all his strength. Not once did I fail to be encouraged. He always felt that he still had strength, advancing strenuously, while I again and again urged him to rest a little more.

I originally served in Kaohsiung; through him I was brought into the full-time coordination, and also into the coordinating fellowship among the brothers on the island of Taiwan. Because of his faithfulness to the leading of the ministry, not only was I closely blended into the fellowship of the Body, but the measure of my service was also enlarged. He brought the churches on the island of Taiwan from the situation of each one going forward in grace on his own into a condition of one accord, into the reality of the building up of the Body of Christ. A brother said that the churches on the island of Taiwan manifested a condition of unprecedented one accord; for this we give the glory to the Lord.

In these years, his body grew gradually weaker, and I also knew that he was racing against time; I just did not know that it would be so brief.

Now he has finally exhausted his strength and rested. I dare not use the word "finally," but the fact is so certain — he has gone, he has fallen asleep, he has rested. As for the remaining unfinished matters, may the brothers and sisters be encouraged and comforted, and go forward in one accord.
