The Churches Throughout Taiwan — The Training Center, the Five-Year Gospelization of Taiwan, and the Middle-Aged Perfecting Training

Brother Chen Junliang: In 1984 Brother Lee returned bearing the burden to study and practice the God-ordained way and to carry out the Gospelization of Taiwan. In order to realize such a burden, in August 1986 the full-time training "The Truth of the Bible and the Service of the Church" was inaugurated in Taipei. Later, when Brother Lee was led by the Lord to return to the United States, he handed the training over to the brothers on the island of Taiwan, and in 1989 the first term of the "Full-Time Training for the Gospel Work in Taiwan" was inaugurated. The full-time training was the cradle for nurturing the pioneers of the spreading, laying the foundation for the later success of the five-year Gospelization of Taiwan; and there were graduating trainees who were sent out to spread overseas, having a part in the Lord's move throughout the whole earth.

Concerning the early period of the service of the full-time training, especially on the side of general affairs — that is, the service of providing supply — for all the needs, great and small, and the logistical resources of the training, Brother Wu always did his utmost to consider and prepare for the training, so that the entire training might go forward without any worries. From beginning to end he had only one conviction, which was, for the sake of the work of the ministry, for the producing of more perfected young believers to bear the same yoke with the ministry, for the testimony of the island of Taiwan, and for the need of the Lord's recovery to spread throughout the whole earth, he went forward without turning back. Concerning those serving ones who coordinated in serving the training, Brother Wu always charged us again and again to perfect the trainees in a fully balanced way in eight aspects — the ministry, the truth, life, service, the Body of Christ, character, aspiration, and language — in order to fulfill the burden of the Lord's servant Brother Lee for the training, so that the trainees might become normal, living, and functioning members of the Body of Christ.

Because of Brother Wu's many years of faithful and laboring service, the full-time training has, from its inauguration in 1986 until now, passed through thirty-four years, during which more than four thousand trained trainees have brought the truth of the Lord's recovery to every part of the world, for the building up of the Body of Christ, to welcome the Lord's coming back!
