For the Lord, for the Church, for the Ministry
Poured Out as a Drink Offering, Even unto Death
Brother Wu was a kindly brother whom the brothers and sisters could easily approach, and an elder brother one wanted to lean on when meeting difficulties. He was truly a lovable brother.
He was a diligent person; in the evening he could go to the kitchen to cook noodles as a late-night snack for the brothers of the "brothers' house." No matter how busy his affairs, every week he faithfully went out to contact people and practice the new way.
In service I had once been hurt, and he came to tell me, "After winter passes, spring will come." When a church met a difficulty, he not only supplied with the Lord's word, but for days and nights, for months, even for decades, came to visit, accompanying the responsible brothers in fellowship deep into the night, sharing their bitterness and their joy.
When someone hoped he would take care of his own body, he considered that his life now was an extra life God had given him; therefore, for the Lord, for the church, and for this ministry, he poured himself out as a drink offering, even unto death.
