A Connecting Sinew, a Supplying Joint

In Brother Wu I saw that he was wrought by the Lord to become a connecting sinew and a supplying joint in the Body of Christ. His heart was broad, able to bear with people of different dispositions and ways of doing things, and to forgive those who offended him. His heart was also very tender, able to support the weak and encourage the discouraged. Several times I saw him choke up and shed tears in fellowship, because he could sympathize with the weak. He was also diligent and faithful; he ran here and there at home and abroad, with no time for jet lag; besides caring for his own meeting hall, he also had to care for the other meeting halls. His memory was extraordinary; he remembered the saints at home and abroad clearly, and knew the condition of the churches in various places like the back of his hand. When a church anywhere had a need, as soon as one fellowshipped with him, he could arrange a suitable co-worker to go help. May the Lord, for the sake of His Body, raise up more connecting sinews and supplying joints to build up the Body of Christ.

Ye Sanben
