The Church Life Protects Us,
Having a Part in the Service Perfects Us
In 2014, before my husband and I were married, I had fellowship with Brother Wu to invite him to attend our wedding meeting. In the course of our conversation, Brother Wu learned that after our marriage we would go to live in America, where I would accompany my husband while he completed his studies. Brother Wu spoke a word to encourage us, which we summarize as follows, and from which we have benefited without end:
- Live the church life—this protects us.
- Have a part in the service—this perfects us.
From the founding of our family until now, these two sentences, though simple, are practical. We thank Brother Wu for his exhortation in love. We miss you—until we meet again on that day!
