My Heart Truly Longs to Reach the New Land Soon

I never thought in my whole life that I would serve for as long as ten years—later serving remotely until now, plus the previous eight years of full-time service. Under the brother's help I had the privilege of being perfected and refined in many ways: proofreading and editing, audio-video production, store and warehouse management, promotion at book exhibitions…. The pattern Brother Wu set for me was a broad heart, wisdom in handling matters, prudent governing, and care for the colleagues and their families…. The brother's figure, his living out of being one with the ministry, will forever be my best pattern.

O Lord, Salem is what You have built, to give to all the saved sinners on earth; all who are redeemed by the blood and washed clean, You grant authority to enter her gates. Her light is her glory, enough to make me long for her; how much more, since You, my Lord, dwell in her midst—how could I not be drawn to gaze afar, and even when not meaning to, find myself yearning…

My heart truly longs to reach the new land soon,

To love You together with all who love You,

To sing forever of Your boundless, limitless love,

To remember forever the footsteps of Your self-giving love…
