An Extraordinary Man Among Ordinary People
Brother Wu was an extraordinary man among ordinary people.
Because Christ was in him, manifesting the great power of the Lord's resurrection, each time he passed out of death into life through his illness, Brother Wu still served the church and served the saints, living out "no longer I, but Christ."
He spent his entire being to love the Lord and to offer himself up for the Lord; he kept nothing back for himself. He lived not for himself but only for Christ and the church. No matter how greatly his body was afflicted, he still ran with endurance the race which was set before him, hoping that we too, like him, would serve until the very last moment.
He was also exceedingly meek, like Moses, gentle and humble. Every time I fellowshipped with him, I sensed that his words were tender and supplying, and I saw in him a character that was firm, gentle, and submissive.
